ANTIQUA, EDITION NUMBER THIRTY-TWO AT THE PORTO AnticoAntiqua will be returning to the Magazzini del Cotone del Porto from 28 January until 5 February for the fourth time.
Antiqua, the fourth edition of the festival, will take place from 28 January until 5 February at the Magazzini del Cotone, in Porto Antico, Genoa.
The Ancient Art Exhibition Market's 32nd edition will be smelling of the sea. Antiqua, in preparation for Ocean Race – The Grand Finale or the arrival one of the most iconic sailing regattas, will be exhibiting all art forms inspired by the ocean. This includes vintage maps, globes, instruments, furniture and equipment on board, as well as portraits of sailing and steaming ships, silverware, and jewellery.
The organizers have prepared special sections, created in collaboration with the Nervi Museums, BPER Banca, and some pieces of the Banca Carige Collection.
Antiqua, in tradition, will include high-period furniture, sculptures and fine carpets. Paintings from the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries with an excursion into Ligurian paintings of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Silver and jewels. Ceramics and artistic glass. Books and prints.
The Old Port's strategic location, easily accessible by all means of transportation, allows you to experience a 360deg tour of the city. This period is dominated by Rubens.
