Minicon, a general science fiction convention run by volunteers, is held annually on or around Easter weekend near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Minicon is organized by the Minnesota Science Fiction Society (or MNStF). Minicon attendees can expect a full schedule of programming, including readings, panel discussions, and signings. Costuming, movies, gaming (organized and open), a teen room, an art exhibition, dealers, a children's room, a science-themed room, filk music and folk, a consuite, bar, room parties and other special events.
Minicon always takes place over the Easter weekend. Minicon is not usually held over Easter weekend.Passover and the overlap. Due to some differences in lunar calendars.In 2024, Passover will be a month after Easter.

Jeremy Brett isHe is also an Associate Librarian in the Cushing Memorial Library & Archives.The Curator and Processing Archivist of the Science Fiction & Fantasy ResearchCollection. He is also the Interim Curator for the Area Studies and Women's Studies collections.Gender Studies Collections.) He has also worked at the University of Iowa and the University ofWisconsin-Milwaukee, the National Archives and Records Administration-Pacific Region,The Wisconsin Historical Society. He earned his MLS in History and MA fromThe University of Maryland College Park in 1999. His professional interests includeScience fiction, fanstudies, and the intersection between libraries and social justice.
